President It would be cliche to say that Carter Bender was born with a hammer in his hand, but it wouldn’t be far from the truth. As the son of an independent residential and commercial contractor, Carter spent many summers on the job site watching the process and learning each division of construction and afternoons after school learning design, project management and estimating. In 2009, after years of working as a commercial project manager and a finish carpenter, Carter decided to branch out on his own. Since that time Bender Construction has amassed a client base that relies on Carter’s expertise in everything construction, including Kitchens (these can be links to the portfolios), outdoor living spaces, bathrooms, basements & custom carpentry. Carter is married to Shannon and they have three sons, Carter, Sam & Brody. In his “free time” he likes boating, camping, and fishing.
Office Manager As if being married to Carter wasn’t enough time together, in 2012 Shannon joined the Bender team to work part-time as the company’s office manager. Prior to her job with Bender Construction, she completed her BA in Advertising and worked as a manager of online and educational content for five years. When you call Bender Construction, you can rest assured that the person on the other end of the line cares deeply about the company and its clients. Outside of the office, Shannon spends her time raising their three boys and enjoys reading and going to the theater.
