“Looking at Louisville” Free Downtown Walking Tours
Experience Louisville through a local’s eyes by taking one of our “Looking at Louisville” FREE Downtown Walking Tours, hosted by the Louisville Visitor Center! A “Looking at Louisville” walking tour guide will take you on a ten-block journey through downtown Louisville, showcasing unique Louisville history, architecture, river city heritage, and the arts. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to Whiskey Row, the Belvedere, West Main Street/Museum Row, and Louisville’s Civic District.
All tours start and end at the Louisville Visitor Center and last between 75-90 minutes. Tours are capped at 20 participants; walk-ins only taken based upon availability. The Louisville Visitor Center is part of the Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau, dba Louisville Tourism. Located at the corner of Fourth & Jefferson streets in downtown Louisville, the Louisville Visitor Center is open 7 days a week and is a one-stop shop for brochures, maps, experience itineraries, dining suggestions, coupons and shopping for Louisville and Bourbon-themed items. Also, attraction tickets are available for purchase and you can pick up and redeem Urban Bourbon Trail and Kentucky Bourbon Trail passports.
